Baseball Recap: New Town Comes Up Short

New Town was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central Honkers, falling 31-0.

New Town's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Town will square off against rival Des Lacs-Burlington at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central is set to take on their familiar foe Tioga at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
