Softball Recap: Roxbury Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

While Roxbury didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the High Point Wildcats on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Gaels have posted since May 28, 2024.

Roxbury's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for High Point, they moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
