Soccer Game Preview: Sunnyslope vs. Tolleson

The Sunnyslope Vikings will challenge the Tolleson Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sunnyslope is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season.

Back in December of 2024, Sunnyslope needed a bit of extra time to put away Cesar Chavez. They had just enough and edged the Champions out 3-2. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Vikings were the better team in the second half.

They hit Cesar Chavez with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cameron Holeva, Lennix Broderick, and James Howard.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Tolleson's offense. They fell just short of Verrado by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tolleson's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Sunnyslope, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
