Softball Recap: South Lewis Comes Up Short

South Lewis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-3 to the Lowville Red Raiders, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Falcons, who fell 2-0 when the teams last met back in May of 2023.

South Lewis' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lowville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

South Lewis has already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Holland Patent on the 2nd. As for Lowville, they will face off against Watertown at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Red Raiders are facing the Cyclones at the right time seeing as the Cyclones are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
