Soccer Game Preview: Petaluma vs. Justin-Siena

Petaluma and Justin-Siena are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but likely not for long. The Petaluma Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Justin-Siena Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Petaluma will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.

Petaluma is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand American Canyon a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Petaluma hit American Canyon with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jordan Tetreau (2), Alex Pounds, Cris Carmona, and Zane Elie.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Justin-Siena's offense. They lost 3-0 to Sonoma Valley on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Braves have lost by exactly three goals.

Justin-Siena has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6-1 record this season. As for Petaluma, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5-3.

Petaluma took their win against Justin-Siena when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 5-1. Will Petaluma repeat their success, or does Justin-Siena have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
