Soccer Recap: Hurricane Starts Season with Victory Against Hillcrest

Hurricane gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Hillcrest Huskies as they made off with a 5-1 victory. With Hurricane ahead 3-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

They hit Hillcrest with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sienna Goulding (2), Elle Jenson, Addison Bringhurst, and Camila Quintero.

This is the second loss in a row for Hillcrest and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Hurricane will take on Tooele at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest, they will head out to challenge Pine View at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
