Football Game Preview: Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds vs. Spaulding Crimson Tide

Missisquoi Valley is 0-5 against Spaulding since October of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Thunderbirds will take on the Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Missisquoi Valley's last matchup with Milton could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Saturday. The Thunderbirds were beaten by the Yellowjackets 66-6.

Meanwhile, Spaulding fell victim to Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille and their airtight defense on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille. The Crimson Tide haven't had much luck with Bellows Free Academy/Lamoille recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Missisquoi Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Spaulding, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Missisquoi Valley might still be hurting after the 31-7 defeat they got from Spaulding in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
