Fisher Leftwich Delivers Electric Performance Vs Surry Central
Starting off the list is North Surry's Fisher Leftwich, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Leftwich picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two rushing scores. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.
If the past is any indication, Leftwich could be in store for another big game when he takes on West Wilkes on Friday. Leftwich picked up 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Blackhawks duked it out back in October of 2023.

Troy Watson was instrumental in extending East Surry's winning streak to three on Friday. Watson did his part (and then some), rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries for the 'W'.
East Surry's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Watson will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against North Wilkes on Friday.
