Volleyball Game Preview: Logan Grizzlies vs. Bear River Bears

Logan is a perfect 3-0 against Bear River since March of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. Logan will be strutting in after a win while Bear River will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Logan turned things around against Granger on Monday. They skirted past the Lancers 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Grizzlies have posted since April 26, 2024.

Logan was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 20-25, 19-25, 25-23, 15-9.

Meanwhile, Bear River was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to West Field.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-12.

Bear River's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Logan, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Everything went Logan's way against Bear River in their previous matchup back in March, as Logan made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
