Volleyball Game Preview: Lake Forest Scouts vs. Loyola Academy Ramblers

The Lake Forest Scouts are taking a road trip to square off against the Loyola Academy Ramblers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lake Forest has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 17th.

Lake Forest's tournament run continued when they took on St. Charles North on Saturday. The Scouts took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Stars.

Meanwhile, Loyola Academy came up short against Joliet West on Saturday and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Lake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Loyola Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Lake Forest couldn't quite get it done against Loyola Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2022 as they fell 2-0. Can the Scouts avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
