Volleyball Game Preview: Millis Mohawks vs. Nipmuc Regional Warriors

The Millis Mohawks will head out on the road to square off against the Nipmuc Regional Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Millis made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bellingham, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mohawks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blackhawks on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Mohawks have posted against the Blackhawks since May 28, 2021.

The victory didn't come easy: Bellingham scored at least 21 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-24, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Nipmuc Regional came tearing into Monday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mustangs.

Nipmuc Regional was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 23-25, 25-14.

Nipmuc Regional's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Millis, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Millis came up short against Nipmuc Regional in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Mohawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
