Basketball Recap: Scott's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

Scott had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over the Maryville Christian Eagles on Saturday. This was payback for the Highlanders, who suffered a 52-50 loss the last time these two teams met.

Scott now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Maryville Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 11-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott will take on Union County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Maryville Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Eagleton College & Career Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eagleton College & Career Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Maryville Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
