After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crestview, Champion was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Liberty Leopards with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Golden Flashes haven't had any issues with the Leopards recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Champion was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.

Audrey Sewell paced Champion's offense, picking up five kills. Sewell got some help from Zoe Patelle and her nine assists. Kinsey Rednock controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Champion's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Champion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Newton Falls on the 11th. As for Liberty, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Southeast on the 11th.
