Football Game Preview: Williamsburg vs. Central Lee

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Williamsburg. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Central Lee at 7:00 PM. Williamsburg are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Central Lee are stumbling in off of six consecutive losses.

Williamsburg made easy work of Mid-Prairie last Friday and carried off a 62-28 win.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-64, which was the final score in Central Lee's tilt against Albia.

Williamsburg's victory lifted them to 3-3 while Central Lee's defeat dropped them down to 0-6. We'll find out if Williamsburg can add another positive mark to their record or if Central Lee can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Williamsburg's step.
