Basketball Recap: Clay County Christian Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Clay County Christian Academy had lost three straight headed into Tuesday's contest, but Emmie Bowen didn't let it get to four. The Clay County Christian Academy Eagles walked away with a 28-19 victory over the Trinity Christian Tigers on Tuesday thanks in part to Bowen, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. She also posted a block, marking her first of the season.

Clay County Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Trinity Christian, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Clay County Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 44-24 defeat against Tabernacle on the 30th. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
