Volleyball Game Preview: Scott Eagles vs. Calvary Christian Cougars

Scott is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Calvary Christian is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Eagles will welcome the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Scott didn't have quite enough to beat West Jessamine and fell 2-1.

Calvary Christian hadn't beaten Villa Madonna on the road since August 19, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Cougars put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 win.

Scott has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-8 record this season. As for Calvary Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.

Scott took their win against Calvary Christian in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
