Softball Recap: Mooresville Christian Comes Up Short

Mooresville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 20-4 to the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars.

Emery Goodman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one run. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Iris Hill, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Mooresville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-5 record.

Looking ahead, Mooresville Christian will challenge Eminence at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they will square off against Covenant Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
