Volleyball Recap: Plainfield Takes a Loss

Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Griswold Wolverines. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21, 25-19.

Griswold's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carly Rubino led the charge by getting 11 digs and one assist.

Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Griswold, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Plainfield will square off against Montville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Griswold, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bacon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
