Football Game Preview: Herbert Hoover Huskies vs. Frankfort Falcons

The Herbert Hoover Huskies will head out on the road to take on the Frankfort Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Frankfort will be up against a hot Herbert Hoover team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. The Huskies blew past Ripley 62-14 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Huskies' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Vikings are ranked 64th).

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Frankfort's strategy against Petersburg on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Falcons blew the Vikings out of the water with a 51-0 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Falcons had established a 45-point advantage.

Herbert Hoover's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Frankfort, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
