Basketball Recap: Center Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Center walked away with it. They strolled past the Oak Grove Panthers with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 42-28. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

When it comes to explaining why Oak Grove lost, don't look at Phillip Nadeau. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Nadeau a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aaron Reeves, who had seven points.

Center's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Oak Grove, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-15 record.

As of now, neither Center nor Oak Grove have any future games scheduled.
