Davenport and Lake Gibson are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Broncos will welcome the Braves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davenport is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Davenport came up short against Lakeland Christian and fell 12-8.

Morgan Cresswell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Duran, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, while Lake Gibson put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lakeland. The Braves were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Dreadnaughts. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Lily Harwell, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Kylie Vazquez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lake Gibson now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Davenport, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Davenport has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lake Gibson struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Davenport came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Gibson in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 4-2. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
