Volleyball Recap: Paintsville Falls to Lafayette in First Game of Season

Paintsville had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lafayette Generals on Friday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Generals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Paintsville will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Wolfe County at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Lafayette, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Taylor County on the 1st.
