Columbia took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the Sumrall Bobcats 64-30. The Wildcats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since January 10th (when they won 66-31).
Braylon Johnson was nothing short of spectacular: he went 7-for-12 en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Those four steals gave him a new career-high. Tylan Kelly was another key player, shooting 71% from the field to rack up 12 points and five steals.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will challenge Mendenhall at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sumrall, they will square off against Hattiesburg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
