Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 6-2 to the East Webster Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the fifth time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-2 defeat on Saturday.

J.D. Whitaker made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Seth Welch was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 33-8. As for East Webster, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 34-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Hamilton by a score of 6-2 later that day.
