Baseball Recap: West Bend West Comes Up Short

West Bend West managed to slip by Hartford the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans lost 7-1 to the Orioles on Friday. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Colin Grass was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 6.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

West Bend West's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Hartford, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.
