Softball Recap: Kennedy's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North, Kennedy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the Del Oro Suns 8-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Thunderbirds as it put an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

The team relied heavily on Makayla Vella, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Alexis Jeronomo, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

The win got Kennedy back to even at 1-1. As for Del Oro, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Kennedy and Del Oro will both be playing West the next time they take the field. Del Oro will head out to face West at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Kennedy will head out to face them on Saturday.
