Baseball Recap: Airport Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Airport's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Tecumseh Indians on Saturday. The Jets' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Airport's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Tecumseh, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8-2 record this season.

Airport will challenge Grosse Ile at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season. As for Tecumseh, they have already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Blissfield on the 3rd.
