Softball Game Preview: Deer Park Stags vs. North Central Wolfpack

The Deer Park Stags will head out to take on the North Central Wolfpack at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Deer Park has 14 straight wins, North Central has 30 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Deer Park got the win against Rogers by a conclusive 26-6. The Stags might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Central came up short against Pullman on Saturday, falling 23-1.

Deer Park pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Deer Park beat North Central 9-5 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stags since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
