There's no place like home for the Ellicottville Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. Everything went their way against Pine Valley Central on Monday as Ellicottville made off with a 50-27 victory. That looming 50-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Ellicottville yet this season.
Despite the loss, Pine Valley Central still got an impressive performance from Vivien Libby, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. Libby has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Danielle West, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Ellicottville's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Pine Valley Central, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
Ellicottville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Pine Valley Central will head out on the road to square off against the Hornets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Forestville Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
