Forest Hills beats Parkwood for their third straight win

The Forest Hills Yellow Jackets had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 47 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past Parkwood 42-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Forest Hills, who have now won seven contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Brady Hibbard was his usual excellent self, throwing for 135 yards and three touchdowns. Hibbard is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Jordan Bennett was another key contributor, gaining 91 total yards and a touchdown.

Forest Hills' win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.0 points per game. As for Parkwood, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hills will challenge Anson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 171st, while Forest Hills is ranked 50th). As for Parkwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Piedmont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Piedmont is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
