Volleyball Recap: Winfield Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Winfield had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Point Pleasant Big Blacks by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Brooklyn Cole paced Winfield's offense, picking up nine kills. Cole got some help from Alexis Callahan and her 14 assists. Cole was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Winfield's win bumped their record up to 31-11-2. As for Point Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-19-1.

Coincidentally, Winfield and Point Pleasant will both be playing Lincoln County the next time they take the court. The Big Blacks will head out to face the Panthers at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, while the Generals will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
