Acton-Boxborough waltzed into their match on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Algonquin Regional Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Revolution, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.

Acton-Boxborough's offense was headlined by Caleb Handel and Obi Umeh, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Parth Pawar and his 33 assists. Umeh also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Caeden Fong, racking up three apiece.

Acton-Boxborough's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. As for Algonquin Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Acton-Boxborough wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Winchester on the 20th. Algonquin Regional has also already played their next matchup (against Bay Path RVT), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
