Watersprings had a senior duo take command as Korban Nelson shot 60% from beyond the arc on his way to 26 points and Ryan Demkowicz dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. The contest was Nelson's sixth in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Perry, who posted seven points.

Watersprings' win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Castleford, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Watersprings will take on Owyhee in a tournament on Thursday. As for Castleford, they will head out to face off against Jackpot at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
