Basketball Recap: Humboldt Takes a Loss

Humboldt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 65-55 to the Highland Park Scots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-66 back in January.

Humboldt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Highland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Humboldt will be playing at home against Como Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Humboldt knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Como Park likes a good challenge. As for Highland Park, they are taking a road trip to take on Academy of Holy Angels at 1:00 p.m. on February 8th.
