Basketball Recap: Marvell Takes a Loss

Marvell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 97-69 loss at the hands of the Brinkley Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Tigers are ranked 79th).

Marvell's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Brinkley, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Marvell has already played their next game (against Clarendon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brinkley has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Friendship Aspire Academy.
