After losing to Herron the last time they met, Indianapolis Scecina Memorial decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indianapolis Scecina Memorial Crusaders walked away with a 59-49 victory over the Herron Achaeans on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indianapolis Scecina Memorial to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mia Miller, who went 6 for 11 on her way to 14 points. Another player making a difference was Kaila Leath, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Herron lost, don't look at Taylor Cotham. Despite the final result, she posted 21 points along with seven boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kallyn Vincent, who put up eight points and five rebounds.

Indianapolis Scecina Memorial has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Herron, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Indianapolis Scecina Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-21 defeat against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the 28th. Herron has also already played their next game, a 37-26 win against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical on the 30th.
