Samer Zabadneh and Nick Johnson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Schurz. The connection went for 79 yards, the longest such play in Chicago Public - Big Shoulders this season.

Taft moved up to 363 from 432 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 34-3 win over the Bulldogs helped the Eagles improve their standing.

Taft's dynamic duo of Zabadneh and Johnson proved tough for Schurz to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zabadneh threw for 161 yards and one touchdown and Johnson had 88 yards receiving. James Liss helped Taft's passing attack out by catching one ball for 37 yards.

Dominic Masciopinto was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 212 yards as Steinmetz topped Peter Fosco's team. Michael Harris also contributed to the rushing game with 78 yards on the ground.

Thanks to the talents of Zabadneh and Liss the Eagles have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Zabadneh leads the league in passing with 454 yards, while Liss has rushed for 787 yards this season. The Bulldogs' Antonio Ayala leads the league in receiving yards with 146 on five catches.

A big matchup in Chicago Public - Big Shoulders this week will be when Foreman takes on Amundsen. The Hornets are in second place, while the Vikings are in sixth place.

Taft extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Schurz, 34-3. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Eagles.
