Kennedale and Godley are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. Kennedale will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Godley at 7:00 p.m.

Kennedale is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest loss since March 28, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Centennial by a score of 10-8. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Godley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over Kennedale. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Godley has posted against Kennedale since May 12, 2022.

Godley got a great performance from Grayson Crane as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Crosby Carmichael was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryder Papasan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Kennedale's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Godley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5-1 record this season.
