Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Trojans vs. West Wolfpack

Lincoln lost against West back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolfpack. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Lincoln had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, 25-19.

Matthew Deleon had an outrageously good game for West as he had 32 digs and two assists. Those 32 digs gave Deleon a new career-high.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln will host Kimball at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans are facing the Jaguars at the right time seeing as the Jaguars are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for West, they will welcome St. Mary's at 6:01 p.m. on Thursday.
