Recap: Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks vs. Village Academy Tigers
The Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Village Academy on the road to the tune of 74-42. With Sheridan Hills Christian ahead 39-16 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Sheridan Hills Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elias Feliz, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Smith, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Sheridan Hills Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Village Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sheridan Hills Christian will take on Franklin Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Franklin Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests. As for Village Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Berean Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
