Basketball Game Preview: Dietrich Blue Devils vs. Glenns Ferry Pilots

Dietrich has gone 10-0 against Glenns Ferry recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Dietrich Blue Devils will get right back to it and host the Glenns Ferry Pilots at 7:30 p.m. Dietrich will be strutting in after a win while Glenns Ferry will be coming in after a defeat.

Dietrich is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Richfield: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Dietrich blew Richfield out of the water with a 45-12 final score. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 33 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Glenns Ferry played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 62-31 loss at the hands of Valley. The Pilots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.

Dietrich will need focus on slowing down Zeidy Reynaga, one of several Glenns Ferry players who made an impact when they last played. She posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Maddie Spriggs, who put up ten points and four steals.

Dietrich has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34 points. As for Glenns Ferry, they dropped their record down to 6-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
