Soccer Game Preview: Virginia High vs. Richlands

The Virginia High Bearcats will head out on the road to face off against the Richlands Blue Tornado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Virginia High came up short against Tazewell on Thursday, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, Richlands fell victim to Graham and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the G-Men. While losing is never fun, Richlands can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while Graham are ranked 48th).

Richlands has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Virginia High, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
