Basketball Recap: Bainbridge Takes a Loss

Bainbridge and White County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bainbridge had to settle for second. They were dealt a 74-34 loss at the hands of the White County Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bearcats have suffered since January 31st.

Bainbridge's loss came despite strong showings from Ahleah Jones and Ta'Liyah Ausgood. Jones posted nine points and three steals, while Ausgood put up eight points. What's more, Jones also posted a 50% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in November of 2024.

Bainbridge's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for White County, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season.

Bainbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for White County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-47 defeat against Baldwin on the 22nd.
