Softball Recap: North Rockland Raiders vs. White Plains Tigers
North Rockland had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victor by a 10-3 margin over the White Plains Tigers. North Rockland's victory was all the more impressive since White Plains was averaging only 2.75 runs allowed on the season.
For White Plains' part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Neela Older, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna McMahon, who went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Having lost for the first time this season, White Plains fell to 3-1.
