Volleyball Recap: Pleasant Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pleasant Valley managed to slip by Woodcreek the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Timberwolves on Friday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Vikings have suffered since September 5, 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

Despite the defeat, Pleasant Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Keira Purvis had 12 digs and two assists.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Woodcreek, their win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Coming up, Pleasant Valley is taking a road trip to take on Twelve Bridges at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodcreek, they will face off against Oakmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
