Clear Fork proved they can win big on Monday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Pleasant Spartans 6-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-3 on Monday.

Miley Shafer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Jada Brokaw and Mya Perry did most of the damage at the plate: Brokaw went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Perry went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Clear Fork's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Pleasant, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-6.

Clear Fork didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 victory against Cardington-Lincoln on the 11th. As for Pleasant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 18-1 win against Ridgedale on the 11th.
