Soccer Game Preview: Oregon vs. Dixon + How To Watch

The Oregon Hawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Oregon is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Genoa-Kingston just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to the Cogs. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Oregon couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Dixon didn't have quite enough to beat Freeport on Thursday and fell 2-1. Dixon haven't had much luck with Freeport recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Oregon's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Dixon, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Oregon came out on top in a nail-biter against Dixon when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Dukes & Duchesses have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
