St. Mary won the last time they faced Lyndhurst and things went their way on Thursday too. The Gaels were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Golden Bears. Considering the Gaels have won three contests by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for St. Mary and bumps their season record up to 3-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Lyndhurst, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

St. Mary will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Golden Bears: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
