Football Game Preview: Burbank Bulldogs vs. Glendale Nitros + Official Tickets

Burbank is a perfect 6-0 against Glendale since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Nitros at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Burbank has three straight wins, Glendale has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Burbank is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Hoover 69-0 on Friday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Deshawn Laporte had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 268 yards and seven TDs on only 19 passes, while also rushing for 111 yards on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024. Noah May-Vaughn got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Burbank's defense and their three sacks. In that department, Troy Wells was the leader with 2.5. Johnny Sale got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Glendale lost to Arcadia at home by a 41-24 margin on Friday.

Glendale's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Burbank, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything came up roses for Burbank against Glendale in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
