Volleyball Recap: St. Michaels Saints vs. Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots
St. Michaels unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Chestertown Christian Academy Patriots on Thursday, falling 3-0.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-4, 25-16.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chestertown Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taby White, who had six aces and four digs. Aryn Lloyd was another key player, getting six aces.
The win got Chestertown Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.
St. Michaels will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Worcester Prep at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Chestertown Christian Academy, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Faith Baptist School on the 12th.
